The saga Antress vs rest of the world continue

Here are a drum loop processed by the two compressors, setting them (by ear and not looking the knobs...)to match the sound and to obtain around 5-6dB of gain reduction

"A" sounds more forward and energetic to me.What about a clip with Density MkII too

Clips are a bit short also.

I agree, but mostly concerning snare resonance than anything else.

Preference-wise it's a toss-up to me. B does sound slightly brighter, but it depends on if you want that or not, I could flip a coin honestly.

Which one is Antress: I think A.

Why? Is not enough for you put the two files in your audio sequencer and play them in loop switching between the two for comparison?...if there other reason that i haven't considered tell me

....btw for these types of tests i prefer short loop to avoid "distractions" caused by the "slightly dynamic changes" caused by the drummer touch...
