apologies for turning 8 bars into 3:30, i'm hardly alone in doing so.

a quick adventure into the potential for automated expression and ascerbic satire/music for sheep. i dreamed about some guy who was talking about the song he was writing and nicked the hook from that.

i used syng2 standard.. eg. short 'a's ('hands') are accomplished using long a and long schwa, making the british 'a' into a three phoneme sequence, "h a-1 a-2 ə- n d s"

pling3 trying for pedal guitar (multiple mono instances for portamento). it could use a higher sampling rate for the high notes, at least.

here's me thinking i'm all spiteful for the satirical phonetics.

Once again, i'm going to have to play this for my bf - he would just LOVE the vocal.

This piece has sort of a "electro-country" feel to it, so the vocal is just perfect. That whole line that ends "...in her eyes" is going to be running through my head all day. I could barely understand the vocal yet I understood it intimately.

Nice. Another perfect tune for a quiet Saturday morning. Thanks for sharing rurik! :)

This is so charming and cute :)

The vocals are fantastic, I love all those little details in the vocoder, the little blips and bubbles. Great harmonies. Good work on the intelligibility too.

Wonderfully stripped back and clean mix too. You don't need 100 tracks to make a tune. :)

The abstracted folky guitar concept works great too.

It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Very strange, but oddly pleasant song.
