This is not my type of music but the glitches are awesome (especially the long panning snare) and I like how you treated the voice samples

'Twas cool of you to take the time to post-like it or not!
The glitches were done with my iphone "my name is chuck" and an App called SampleToy.

Hugely fun!
Peace.

Oh, was it difficult to use? How did you get the drums in? Through the microphone? Did you export a final file or did you record it in your DAW?any1particular wrote:The glitches were done with my iphone "my name is chuck" and an App called SampleToy.

Edit: And because I said "not my type of music" doesn't mean I don't like your song. I actually do

Yeah...it was perhaps a bit difficult mainly because I wasn't really sure how to go about it properly-is there a proper way with this new tech?
Please understand that the only thing I did on the iphone was the glitchy 'my name is chuck' part. The rest of it was done in Ableton Live 8. The guitar samples are me playing guitar and I cut it up and dropped the cut up files into Ableton's drum racks which is an MP3 style sample tool?
The Rhodes I did with my guitar via a midi controller.
I actually plugged the iphone right into the mixer via the 1/8" jack and 'performed' it in real time with the phone. It's really not as tight as I'd like but-'twas fun?
Oh...and I'm glad you like the tune!!! So much FUN!!!

I had trouble streaming, downloaded...
Nice laid-back groove, I like the fun-music vibe, good glitchy mangling, and enjoyable weird Rhodes/guitar leads. Very creative
Nicely done
