Hello,

I want to follow the tutorials on the synth student website using clearsynth.

However when i open ableton with clearsynth in my vst plugins folder i get messages popping up saying it cant find modules such as "Auto_Active_Switch_Control_CK2005″.

The GUI is present when ableton finally opens but it has no audio.

Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Im using ableton live 8

hi, i sent an update to you via email, though it probably won't solve it. ableton often seems to crash for synths with ck modules in them, and clearsynth is ~entirely ck modules.

if that update doesn't work, then it will have to wait for a total rewrite or use a wrapper around the plugin like energyXT or chainer or something (this *may* circumvent whatever makes it crash..)

sorry, i have no idea why ableton doesn't play well with synthedit and ck sometimes.
