What have we here then? Damn, Neil, but you do some really creative things! This is a very interesting mix of sounds and ideas that probably wouldn't occur to most people.
The track has a very primal energy to it that is amazing!

thanks guys
i've been trying to use some more ethnic instruments recently, hence the taikos banging away in the background. also there's a persian ney in there as well - although it got mugged by three lamas and dragged through some effects backwards.

Some trouble with direct link. Switched to Soundcloud.
Very wise combination of different elements, well blended to achieve a consistent, solid, dark vibe. Well structured track in terms of variations and evolving atmosphere: I like the original tension-changes between 3 and 4-ish minute mark and the following and final section.
Cool stuff
Cheers

thanks for listening, i'm glad you enjoyed it
@bluedad - hypnotic..cool. although you should try listening to it for what seemed like 1000 times in a row - hypnotic ain't the word
@Laguna - the first link.. i use file den and it seems to be slow of late. however right clicking and downloading from it seems to go at a decent speed. i'll point that out in future posts, and edit this one

Menacing. The townspeople were not pleased when I stumbled upon their bloody ritual, and they're looking for me. With scythes.
Excellent work. Thank you.
