What I'd like is, to select an area, then choose weither to fade from:
- top to bottom within the selected area.
- bottom to top within the selected area.
- left to right within the selected area.
- right to left within the selected area.
I would also have an 'Intensity' knob to select how intensive I want the fade to be (in other words, how fast or how slow I want the fade to be).
The fade tool, would fade the all colours only within the area that I've selected, at my desired intensity.
Can it be done? Thanks.
Any chance of a 'Fade' tool?

You should familiarise yourself with doing fades by drawing a curve on a new layer, filling it up (fill to left or bottom) and averaging it (horizontal or vertical average) then Multiply blending mode. And to learn to think with layers and operations .Electronic1982 wrote:What I'd like is, to select an area, then choose weither to fade from:
