Official release of this free set!!!
Includes 5 sounds (sample sets) and I've added 5 more child presets for a total of 22, 11 of them are for the Out There Mystery set. I mainly went a bit overboard while testing the Stretch engine

The sounds included are:
- "No Name Poly" from the freebie The No Name keyboard. Mapped from G3 to F5
- "Organic" from The Constellation soundfonts. Mapped from C-1 to C6
- "Out There Mystery set" from the Out There set. Mapped from C1 to B2
- "Tinaum 8" from an upcoming set. Mapped from C-1 to C6
- "Zvon Sidekick demo" from the Sidekick electronic percussions set. Mapped from C1 to F#4

Thanks for sharing, I'm downloading the files now.

By the way, what's a good tool to turn some of my WAV files into SampleTank files? I'm hoping there's something out there that's available for free.

I used Extreme Sample Converter to convert my Kontakt files to Sampletank. The Sampletank manual does say that: "SampleTank 2 allows you to import WAV, AIFF, SDII, AKAI S1000-3000 samples... directly from the plug-in." See page 49.

I have not tried it yet though.

Thanks, I just tried that suggestion out. I'm using Windows Vista, and I had to give SampleTank administrator privileges first, but I was eventually able to convert a WAV file and save it as a SampleTank file. I've only done one conversion so far, but this looks promising.

I would like to know if those who downloaded the sounds were able to use them without technical problems? Specially those on MAC as I made the conversion on a PC.

Also any comments/questions on the sounds and presets?

My PC specs are below. The sounds loaded with no problem, and sound really good. I'm still getting used to ST2, though -- I don't know where any of the presets are.

Thanks for your comments!

To access the presets, click on the small black triangles. You will notice that "No Name Poly" and "Zvon Sidekick demo" don't have a black triangle which means that they do not have child presets. The 3 sounds that have a black triangle have child presets, if you double click on their name you will hear the unprocessed samples and clicking on the triangle expand their preset list where the samples are processed.

- "No Name Poly", "Organic" and "Tinaum 8" are chromatic instruments.
- "Out There Mystery set" and "Zvon Sidekick demo" are different 1 shot samples.
