Ohh. . . I have played "Canon in D" a least a couple hundred times for weddings throughout the years. It seems to be one of the favorites for "Return Brides", actually, those brides who've been married at least once in their lives. (First-time brides seems to like the more traditional wedding processional/recessional.) I would LOVE to play this particular rendition of "Canon in D" for a wedding. Of course, it would be for my own amusement. It pretty much captures how I feel about this piece after playing it many, many, many times.

Thank you for making this cranky, frumpy, middle-aged man chuckle and smile. LOL!

thanks! i feel good that i have captured a little of the spirit of this ancient song.. people tell me that it sounds like they are in a Zelda church.. heh..
i found it interesting to read that back in its day, only nobles and royalty danced the "gigue"..
