the nice thing about BLIT oscillators is that they allow you to specify exactly how many partials are present. i decided to mod it so that it would have say.. 4 times as many partials as it should have.. here's five minutes of frequency sweeps.

the synthedit slider (which i performed this with) has a short duration smoothing function (and some degree of quantisation) which is presumably why it steps, i doubt with constant sweeps that the integration would settle on tones to this degree.
