hi,
I'm not interested by all the features that the plugin Reverberate offers, I just like his ability to perform a "True stereo convolution reverb" .
I'm surprised that despite the big amount of free vst reverb, I didn't find one that offers such a feature.
I want a free vst that is fully compatible with the m7 impulse from rhythminmind.net, does this thing exists ?
I'm just interested by a particular reverb preset, that I want to recommend in an "audiophile" forum, so I rather find a free vst.
Thanks

It can be downloaded from his site (http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir1.php), but according to a comparison chart on the site, SIR2 is "True Stereo" but SIR1 isn't.olepro wrote:Sir1 is/was a free convolution reverb.

If you run two instances of Reverberate CM you can do the true stereo effect relatively simply by sending the left channel to one instance and the right channel to the other instance (so this is for you to work out how to do that in the host you're using). Then load the relevant IR into each. It's a bit fiddly perhaps but fairly easy when you've got the routing worked out.
<plug>Just checking you've seen Reverberate Core, this doesn't have all the features of Reverberate so might be more what you're looking for (aside from the price, but 50USD is at least less than 80USD)</plug>.
Hope that helps.

Very Unstable. Great plugin, but VERY unstable. and it looks like development stopped.marce wrote:The HybridReverb2 plugin offer rear convolution, im not sure is the same, but you can look it here:
