With the sad passing of good old lil Kim Jong Il, my anti-virus software going into overdrive and a severe bout of hiccups, three totally unrelated events lead me to listen to a vogg orbis file (all the way through).

This one. Wow, while Bowie was sniffing out Berlin for inspiration I was listening to the likes of 'Another fish from Tahiti' by the 012. I haven't listened to it for a few years now, but you captured a mixture there that nearly cured my hiccups.

It's a hit.

Thanks for sharing. My hiccups seem to have gone. Anti-virus has gone back into normal mode. You gotta be doing something right.

thanks for all of the kind words.

i've made a new mix, with more bassline automation, and more work on the guitar effects. in the 1st mix, it seemed like maybe the 'ADT' on the vocals was causing 'phase cancellation,' so this time i went with actually doubling the vocal samples (pre-solo and post-solo are separate takes), with a slight delay on the 2nd instance.

it yet sounds like maybe there's 'phase cancellation' on the guitar panned r/l, but whatever...

oh, there's been some work on the drums (mostly filtering some of the various samples).
