Hey Everyone! I am going to be releasing a song a week in 2012 (for free)Its a challenge i have set myself after being constantly frustrated with continually not finishing songs! I am 3 weeks in and i thought i would post it here to see if anyone is interested in following along for the ride. Feedback and comments appreciated.

O.K. So I've made it through January! Heres week 4: "Human Eyes" It starts off as a dub reggae jam and then turns into a theme for an imaginary video game!

I used Reaper, Reason, Strobe, Massive, Kontakt and a free vst called 'peach'. Also heavy use of CamelPhat for sound sculpting.

Great idea and good stuff!

I love the first one, and the fourth one is nice. The third one was good, but didn't feel as homogenous/together as the other ones, lots of cool parts but not melded together quite as well.

The second one is all over the place, but that's not a huge surprise :)

Followed you on SC (and favourited the first track), looking forward to hearing more!

Sounds like a challenging project! Results so far are very encouraging, I've enjoyed listening to them all. Good luck with the next 48 weeks! :)

Week 6: "In You"
Slightly less "Electronic" than the last few. I wanted to play more 'real' instruments this time. Also Threw in a tiny Whitney Houston sample at the last minute. Heavy use of Kontakt 4, Sampletank and Guitar Rig 4. All sequenced, produced in REAPER 4.
