This is a combination of the sounds and mood of my last 2 tunes 'earth voices' and 'leaf', after a recent death in the family.
Take one performance piece on 3 controllers, 3 Diva patches and pro12 plugiator, mopho, Ion and JX10. Lexicon hardware, Satson and ProL effects. EDIT. This is a remixed version with some EQ cuts and less reverb as suggested. I actually quite like the slightly disorientating effect of the more reverb version. Hope this one sounds better for most. Nice mashup fatc. I seem to remember a couple of minor edits along the way with the two individual contributing tracks, but this sounds even smoother than I remember. This is a really pleasing soundscape with a really nice sounding main instrument.
Great work. Please accept my sympathy for your recent loss. |

Sometimes our best inspiration comes through changes in our circumstances. Will comment more on your track as soon as I can listen to it in my home studio. ---- South African Electronic Dance Music Producer following his dream |

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
I like what I'm hearing, musically, but I don't like the fact that it's DROWNING in reverb! Reverb is great for adding ambience, but I feel you're gone way over the top here and it's detracting from the music. It was a nice chilled piece, but half the amount of reverb would've been quite enough I feel. |

thank you for the kind words polyslax, Sev7, mac jopy and programentalist.
And thanks programentalist, good I guess if the tune is the only thing drowning over here. Tis overuse of the new toy, Lexicon PCM70 on PsychEchoes patch, JX10 total mix out into it...delicious kind of soft distortion when it goes into the red on the input scale [I suppose I shouldn't do that.] Here is a short clip of the culprit I think. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9504745/JX10drownedinreverb.mp3 Hopefully I'll get around to more sensible use of it sometime. |

Hey, no shame in in taking it to the breaking point first And it's sooo easy to get carried away with new stuff... |

Quite lovely piece this one. Very, very melodic, floating feel, and a real emotional tug. Great work |

Should perhaps say, the 'mash' here, is combining the instruments from my last 2 tunes. Then played the improvisation again.
thanks mikusan, much appreciated. |

I hear elements of both pieces, tonally and melodically.
It very relaxing and easy to listen to. Time just seems to fly by while it's playing. Again, very inspiring for me. I certainly don't want to copy it, but I hope to be able to put out similar pieces in the future. ---- "Be excellent to each other." Sorry for your loss. These instruments you play however, are full of life. What a beautiful tune. I can *feel* the melodies, almost can see a performance. Love the dynamics. |
