Patch changing (feature request?)

OK, this is something I could try out, I guess but I thought I'd check the docs. And then ask. First.

Over in hosts, a couple of people are asking about controlling routing in their hosts using MIDI controllers:

My instinct says "use a MUX for each set up and then... ugh" because I don't know if you can use a (Bank! and) Program Change to switch patches in a MUX. Looking at the MULAB docs makes me think it's not viable.

For live performance, it would be a really great feature.

I would like to load a (previously saved) preset for a MUX or VST by a sequence event. A similar problem? How do I manage this?

It's not supported yet. But i agree it would be interesting to have. Note however that loading a preset can take a bit of time, depending on how big the preset is and how many samples it uses etc. There is a detailed note about this on the WL.
