I'm back with this question again. Apparently i really like UI like pro-c and compassion. For now unlike my last question, it's even between pro-c and compassion in term of the chances for me to get it. But did i miss something else? Any other nice looking interface i'm missing right now? About the sound quality, i'll judge it by the demo later since everything is subjective.

I do have the glue for buss, and black 76 for heavy compression, but what i'm looking right now is the one that have the most inspiring looks for general usage. So basically i'm not looking for those hardware inspired UI, but something fresh.

Solved : I found out that i like TB compressor.

I still really love the GVST GComp and GComp 2, IIRC they're x64 now. Windows only, unfortunately, so I can't use them anymore. But back in my Windows days, I used them frequently.

Another one I really love is Sinus' Peak Compressor. And it bothers me even more that it's Windows-only, I'd love to have that one for Mac AU/VST, because there's nothing else like it.
It's a unique tool, and on Windows I couldn't do a project without using it.

As a Limiter, I've grown fond of Toneboosters' Barricade, bought it instantly and haven't regretted it yet.
If their Compressor is a port of Jeroen's former PC (Psychoacoustic Compressor), then that one's a getter as well.

Midnight Compressor from Focusrite is nice, and also it's a good compressor.

Nomad Factory's the Blue Tubes ones are nice too, with a great feel to them.

Nebula, and the many compressors available.

I love Pro-C and highly recommend it. That said, an oldie, but still very much a goodie is the Waves C1 and it's currently on sale for $64 during the Waves 64 for $64 promotion that presumably ends today (although it has already been extended once, so it may be again). It's even cheaper at Waves Universe.

I think the UI looks pretty nice:

Tq all for the reply. Mind you, i'm demoing almost all this suggestion to see if i enjoy the gui and the sound. So it's not just about the UI. But i'm sure some of you can relate about nice gui inspire more.

It is unfortunate that JB RedPhat Pro is no longer available for purchase...
(TB Compressor replaces this)

how does the TBCompressor compare with Red Phat Pro (which i hve and use often)?

TB Compressor and Red Phatt Pro are completely different. They both are very good devices, but while TB is purely a compressor Red Phatt is a full-fledged dynamic processor.
I had a hard time finding a substitute to JB RPP when I went 64bit and eventually bought COMPassion.

Jeroen said somewhere on KvR that TB Compressor is not a substitute to Red Phatt and that he could add something similar to the TB Buss series in the future to cover that. But IF and WHEN, he couldn't tell.

A pity, I truly think that JB Pro series was excellent - Red Phatt and Smash being prime examples. I also didn't find a metering plugin which offers all of the Auditor features laid out in that way.
