My number one: allow creation of instrument/effect chains. It is kind of ridiculous it doesn't exist now. What I'd really like is to be able to save folders as one reusable item. |

i'd pretty much like a global pitch settings for all vsti.
effect chains should be savable already, but let them include instruments, yeah. |

There is a workaround, you can create a track with your one instrument and whatever effects, then create an empty clip in the timeline, drag the clip to a location in the Files browser and it will be saved, just drag that clip to the timeline to load up thoise saved settings. It is a way to trick the DAW into including instruments, but it is not elegant really, not logical like having a right-click 'save this track settings' and some saved track settings item in the browser. But anyhow that doesn't work if you are wanting multiple instruments, or in my case an arp and an instrument (or two). It is a major drag on productivity for me. I am always having to reinvent the wheel for all the little utilities I use. |

I would change the naming setup of VSTI's. Ie the naming on the mixer follows the naming in the arrange page.
I would add a default option for playback from start of selected region. A key command can be set up for this but to my knowledge no way to make it default. Also the grid visibilty and it's relationship with zooming and whats on the divisions in the ruler is not the clearests. I bought studio one completed two songs but went straight back to ableton and got Jbridge to allow me to access more memory and haven't looked back. |

But you can have multiple tracks that feed to one instrument that is in the mixer, so doesn't really make sense to do that IMO, though it would be more clear in a way. For example i will have Strum guitars with two tracks in the the arranger, one for the strum, one for chords, and they both share a mixer channel since that is tied to the track. |

Do I have to say it? Are you going to make me say it? Is there really ANY good reason for me to have to say it? |

I think Studio One needs Arranger Clip Launcher, Native Modular System, a darker GUI, per note automation, Multi Monitor Support and .. Oh damn!! ---- Cowbells! |

You know when you come from a DAW experience like Reaper I can understand your wanting a world of features to match every "great" thing that it had to offer, Studio One is not Reaper, get over that and make some music and if you miss those features use Reaper and resist the temptation of shitting on my lawn with your constant demand on my "great" DAW to imitate a DAW that does what you already want it to do. Use Reaper. There I said it. |

Nothing wrong with asking for features but it's shortsighted and a bit immature to use words like "ridiculous" and "embarassing" for things like that that. Frankly, we are often like spoiled kids. We want it all and when we don't get it all we stomp our feet and kind of insult the people who created this stuff, as if we could actually do it better... or even do it at all. Try to be polite. Never disrespect developers from any of these comapnies, there's rarely any reason to. Hope that helps. |

A way to Pan around the pianoroll rather then click and drag to scroll up or down. To slow for quick writing.
And the Zoom (Live like) is to sensitive to the horizontal mouse movements so that when scrolling, if not careful, you end up also zooming. No much for me.... ---- MuLab 4, Studio One v2. In that order. |

Oh please, who is a baby and who is shitting on who here? You guys get over it. I didn't beat up on the developer, but say something like time stretch would be a rediculous ommission, no? I feel the same about effect chains. S1 does a great job with a preset browser and it seems like a huge ommision to me. And then some features I'm mentioning from Reaper actually are in many other DAWs, even Studio One, like more scales. I am not bitching about it. Geez. You fanboy types, I'm not talking about your wife.
I love Studio One so I'm dealing with bad resiurce management, Rewire bug that makes it unusable, and in some places spartan features. I think it is within my rights to talk about these things. |

Disagree. Reaper doesn't have audio warping or area selection, features that exist in just about every other Pro daw. I wouldn't personally call that ridiculous, which was kind of my point. You do know what "ridicule" actually means right? Anyway, my comment was mostly in fun. But it's kinda true. It wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular. Sorry man, no offense intended.
