Hi guys
What's been your experiences with the various transient designers out there? I'd like to get the SPL but I am wondering if there is something out there just as good but cheaper? Schwa Sculpto? Or Stillwell transient monster? I am aware I can demo these and I will get round to it but some of you have probably done the transient designer hunt already. I've read before that the cheaper ones just don't cut it. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

I like the different curve options, those are always very useful. This looks really good, will try it out later. I don't think I've seen a shaper before with different curve choices. Unless Sculpto does that too. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

The spl transient designer , adds a pleasing quality to the sound.
A bit like auto tune with the voice. I found that the transient designer doesn't work as good with big sampling rates. Also, I don't like effects that rely on a threshold , or on compression. SPL transient allow powerful results with only two knobs. If you combine crossover vst, and/or msed , with transient designer, you win lot of flexibility. |

They have a plug similar to the waves designer, though maybe more complex. Multiband transient designer. Bit over my budget though. I will try the flux one again, that's on the to-demo list. It's free anyway like you said. I tried a bunch of the free ones out a while ago and don't remember being satisfied, I may have not been judging them properly though. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |
