Everytime I want to run my DAW apps in 64 bit mode I have to go into properties to turn it on, and since I have some plugins that work best at 32 bit and others 64 I am having to do this quite a lot. Is it possible (like on Windows) to create two separate versions of a shortcut or something that allow easier mode switching? ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

Just make a copy of the Logic app and re-name it accordingly.... one copy set to 32bit, the other 64. |

Really? And that won't mess things up? ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

Amazing - On Windows there would be no end of problems, Mac programmes seem much more self contained

I just thought of one potential problem - what happens if the appstore wants to update it and it's been renamed? ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

Cheers In Windows you'd just make a new shortcut with the appropriate command-line toggles to set it to 32/64... (or to send it to the config file that does so) not that hard. |
