Would anyone want to knock this together (I'm fine with SM/SE) ?
or does it exist already ? A VST that measures project time. You'd insert it on the master (or any track), Audio would simply pass through and it would say: You've been working on this project for xxxx hours. Good for studios and time management in general. FL hast this built in, my DAW hasn't, unfortunately. ![]() |

This is a nice idea for a handy tool.
We put something together, atm there is only a VST 32 bit version and it's currently not available via the HOFA-Plugins Manager, but we will supply this later. This week is a free workshop week here at HOFA, so it will probably be within the next week. Edit: Downloads see post below. It has no reset as you can simply remove and reload the plugin. Instead there is a pause button, so you don't need to close your projects during your breaks. If you find any bugs or need another format (VST, VST3, AU, RTAS AAX, 32/64 bit, Win/OS X), simply drop us an email (plugins@hofa.de). The HOFA 4U ProjectTime is now available via the HOFA-Plugins Manager for all common plugin formats (VST, VST3, Audio Unit, RTAS, AAX) on Windows or Mac OS X.
Further information and downloads are available on [ http://hofa-plugins.de/pages/start_en.php ] (www.hofa-plugins.de). So close but this is a dealbreaker. I need subsample accuracy at 384 kHz and up to several hundred (possibly thousands) billion hours. Damn. ---- At school they taught me how to be. So pure in thought and word and deed. They didn't quite succeed. |

It seems to have no pause button (good idea to implement this btw.) and I'm not sure if it keeps the elapsed plugin time on save/close re-opening the project though. Thanks for the heads up, but still glad with the HOFA version which does exactly what I wished for. |
