Hey

I have problem with Diva trial, almost every preset i choose is "killing" my CPU, even when i choose some of the "8 Templates".

Is it just me or is it how Diva is ? Sad

The demo and registered version use exactly the same amount of CPU here.

I see!
U probably have an old computer.
I think u use Devine mode which gives the best possible algorithms but very cpu hangry.
If ur computer cannot handl it just select lower mode.

Have s nice day. Embarassed

There is a chance your demo is an older version, there was a significant update a couple months back, just is case check the website and download the latest and see it that improves your performance.

I had a core2duo and yeah it was rough except in draft mode, and some patches just weren't usable, but with a quad core it is negligible for most patches, and the most demanding may tax the cpu a little on Divine but it is not bad at all.

i7-2600k is still pretty powerful CPU Very Happy

And i dont have this problem with any Zebra presets, even if i use all OSC's with eleven polyphony + fm + many lfo's etc. , i know its probably totally different engine, but still...

Zebra has totally different engine, yes, and doesn't do things as complex as Diva does. Diva is completely new tech.

There is the little 'multi-threaded' button under the Accuracy setting, try setting that on. Maybe try setting Accuracy to Fast, see what happens.

With long envelope release times, voice stacking, Divine mode, disabled multicore processing, yes, it could. Smile
