"Ableton Live 9 new features
Session automation: In Session View, automation can now be recorded in real time directly within clips. Automation can move together with clips between Arrangement and Session View." That's good news. |

Yay! Here is the official Live 9 site: https://www.ableton.com/en/live/new-in-9/ The site of the new controller: https://www.ableton.com/en/push/ And an article about the controller on CDM: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2012/10/ableton-push-integrate d-touch-sensitive-hardware-control-for-live-details/ I really like the design of the Push thingy and the new website. Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Life can take some shitty turns sometimes. |

One question.
Can we set Loop record points in audio clips in session view "prior" to recording audio into clips in session view now? |

Full feature list:
https://www.ableton.com/en/live/feature-comparison/ Looks great! I need to sit down and drink some water. 209€/329€ is a fair price for students by the way, wow. |

Now I can't wait to see what's going to be sold in the market place for "low" prices because people are desperate for Live 9 and push. Last edited by V0RT3X on Thu Oct 25, 2012 5:38 am; edited 2 times in total |

To be honest there's not so many new things, the new browser will be great and welcome to me since I spend a lot of time searching for the right samples but other than that ... I own already the Glue for example. Dunno, hope the PDC will be fixed at least. I expected a bit more... ---- Developers! Developers! Your plug-ins should be circuit modeled!!! It's the shizzz! In the Suite version in 9 , the Max for Live is for free I hope folk who already own the v8 Suite and M4L dont get shanked on the upgrade price. ---- To laymen, software development is something akin to wizardry. Neither time, nor effort are involved. If software is missing features they want, or has bugs, it is solely because someone has been too lazy to wave their magic wand. |

Looking forward to this. It's been quite a wait for sure, but to me Live 9 looks like a good evolution of an already brilliant concept. And as a Suite 8 owner, I'm pleased by the inclusion of Max4Live, which I've considered buying but not got around to before |
