Latest News: u-he updates all their plug-ins

Hi all,
We're still working on that general über-maintenance update of virtually everything. After the important fixes in Zebra 2.5.4 and Diva 1.1.1, special attention went into Uhbik and ACE. Ubhik has the denormal issues fixed, ACE has the infamous AllNotesOff-bug fixed. Also, ACE has inherited MultiCore support from Diva. In addition we're quite confident that VST3 support will make Mac 64-bit users happy: Edit: there's a new thread with new betas: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=365340 Please check these out and post your findings. We hope to release these soon, along with updates to everything else for fixed niggles and VST3 support. Thanks, - Urs Last edited by Urs on Wed Nov 14, 2012 4:44 am; edited 2 times in total |

Do the Uhbik VST 3 updates include direct support for sidechaining in Cubase? ---- I'm not insane. I'm reality challenged. |

I have the same problem in Windows 7, running the installer as administrator makes no difference: For Uhbik I get this error for instance: Runtime Error (at 63:593): IPersisFile::Save failed; code 0x80070003. System can't find specified path |

WinXP 32bit no difference with the ACE installer. After selecting the install paths (classic, with data path beside the dll, and the inevitable warning) ->
Runtime Error (at 62:585): IPersistFile::Save failed; code 0x80070003. [...] It does create the ACE.data directory, though. -kylie- |

i7 iMac/OSX 10.6.8/Live 8.2.8
Install went fine. However, ACE goes silent after a few minutes of changing patches back and forth. Can't get more details at the moment but I can dig into it deeper later today. Removing ACE and putting it back on the track solves the issue at the moment. Good news is that I am loving the multicore support. I couldn't find one "poly" preset that I could get to gover 30% in the Live meter and that's with each one on many voices/accurate/4 stack using 5-6 note chords. Presets like HS Brass Toff would crackle badly if I increased the stack to 2 prior to this update. Now things are pretty smooth. I only had a chance to run through about 30 presets but I'm sure the results will be similar with the rest. ACE remains my favorite synth and this update allows me to open it up a bit and have some really stellar sounds. Thank you so much for putting in the work. It IS appreciated |

Can't get it to do that in Logic - will try in Live now that I have it ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

Sheesh, I hate installation issues... will try to figure that one out...
The silence thing with ACE... that's normal VST2 in Live? Or AU? Both? Does the MIDI LED still work? Does the oscilloscope still show anything? Is that with MultiCore on/off? Hehehe, yes, real beta testing, your help is very appreciated Also, a preset before and after silence (no pun intended) would be great... Thanks |

Up and running in Live 8.3.4 Win7 with no problems. Love the multicore support! Stacking and long release times are now officially possible and viable. |
