Hi guys, I've tried to get my bass sounds sounding as good as these but I'm failing!
Can anyone help with ho to achieve both sounds please? I've got Sylenth and massive. http://soundcloud.com/one-nil/worthy-shy-look-one-nil-remix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjWKYJQs_V8 |

Tried to emulate it with DIVA with 2 square oscillators, one detuned by about a step and synced to the third oscillator, got the envelopes (BITE filter in 2 mode), put some chorus, and small-sized short-decay reverb for a heftier attack but still didn't manage to get it (compressed and EQ'd as well, well it gets quite close, but something differs and can't put my finger what it is). So interested in it as well : )
(or does it use some waveform from a digital synth?) |

It could have a bit of FM applied. Sounds like a square wave but actually looks like a sine with some higher odd harmonics. Cool tune. ---- ![]() |

I got real close to the main portion without the grit or effects. I had to use a bit of FM and RM but the result was very good. The FM oscillator is tuned 5x the base. Two triangle waves. ---- ![]() |

Definitely FM. Isn't this the "Wood Piano" patch? |

Thanks, the Wood Piano patch is definitely the sort of thing I was after but not exactly like these. |
