Bought it. Like the Natural Finger, Guitiano and Luther patches. I wish I could load them as separate instruments into Kontakt. As it is now, it's one big monster patch, bringing my old PC to its knees. Also, when it comes to the guitars themselves, it's all straight notes, no slides, harmonics, thrills, or what have you.

I don't have Evolution Acoustic Guitar or Efimov Acoustic Guitar, but I don't think it's meant to replace one of those.

Alex,

1) How does it sound with strummed chords?

2) Are the sounds in the 8dio demo video a pretty accurate representation of how it sounds "in vivo"?

I wouldn't use it for strums. It's very good for playing soft arpeggiated patterns. Think Indie ballads, Windham Hill, film scores.

The last demo, where he gives a quick run down of the instruments, is exactly how it sounds. That's why I bought it.

Alex, sorry, one more question -- what are the specs of the PC which this brings to its knees?

Ahem ... A Pentium IV, 3 gigahertz, 2GB ram with the mighty Delta 1010 sound interface (PCI) ... Yes, a true museum piece.

Ah, ok. I only just recently abandoned something similar for a machine with a 64 bit OS and 16 GB RAM. Early signs are it's the smartest move I've ever made.
