What is the Tracktion.dmg file ? Key ?

I tried to register my T4 and get the error most others get (not recognized). If I remeber right I thought the dmg file was the key you could download and put in the Tracktion directory. I tried placing it in there and still it runs in demo mode. Does it go into another directory ? I know others are having issues too, but... if Im putting it in the wrong place, maybe I can get it going !!! On a postitive note my T2 and T3 license show up in the web site.

The DMG file is the installer for the Mac version.

The dmg file is the Mac version, bit like a Windows zip file. Definitely not the key. 
I haven't bought t4 yet but from memory you imported the key to activate, didn't need to place it in any specific location (as you do with energyXT for example).

You don't need a key anymore to unlock T4; just fill in your username/password and your received license code.

Ok, not a mac user I remember with Mackies site with T2 and T3 you had a download key. My bad on the dmg file.
On the registering software, my key wont work. I tried copy and paste, imputing it by hand, uninstalling and re-installing the software. Seems others are having issues with the keys TSC sent via email or acquired via the web site no being recognized as good keys.
