I've been following the directions for sidechaining with Blue Cat Dynamics and Stereo Gain, but it just won't work. I swear I am doing this right. Dynamics > Preset Settings > Midi Output > Total Gain(1) mapped to Channel 1, CC 54, Total Gain(2) mapped to Channel 1, CC 55, midi enabled. Stereo Gain > Midi Input > Gain(L) mapped to 1, 54, Gain(R) mapped to 1, 55, midi enabled. Midi track input set to appropriate track, Blue Cat Dynamics, output set to appropriate track, 1-Blue Cat Stereo Gain, monitoring set to In.
I'm a reasonably intelligent person. Where the hell am I going wrong?
Edit: Figured it out. The midi track was disabled.
Can't get sidechain compression working in Ableton Live.

Hi,
Thanks for posting the solution. We apologize for the inconvenience. Do you think that there is a missing step in the tutorial that we should add to make the process easier?
