Use them with Audiobus-compatible music apps like AmpliTube and Garageband
Thanks to this recent update, you can use the amazing lush sounds of iLectric Piano and ultra realistic sounds of iGrand Piano with Garageband or the multi-track recorder in AmpliTube by simply launching Audiobus and connecting the apps together. Connecting apps in Audiobus is much like using cables to connect various pieces of gear together. It's simple to use, and fun.
Audiobus is a music utility app that lets mobile musicians route audio between their favorite music apps. It connects the output of compatible apps together, allowing mobile music apps to be used much like plug-ins for DAWs, thus greatly expanding their usefulness and creative potential.
iLectric Piano for iPad puts the world's most revered electric pianos right at players' fingertips. It features 20 authentic, rich and warm-sounding instruments, complimented by a vast array of effects to custom tailor and perfect the sound for the mood. Other Enhancements
With our "Background Audio" switch in Settings, iGrand Piano and iLectric Piano (also now with SampleTank) were always able to play in the background when you needed to switch to non-audio apps. However, when another audio app was launched, iGrand Piano would stop playing and relinquish the device's audio output to the new audio app. Now with this update, iGrand Piano or iLectric Piano you can continue playing them in the background, even with another audio app open. This means that you can layer iGrand Piano with iLectric Piano and SampleTank or any other audio app that supports this, or you can send MIDI information on multiple channels to play different parts on the various instruments simultaneously. Don't want to do that? To simply play your audio apps one at a time, go to settings and switch "Background Audio" off.
