The renovations going on at Forgotten Keys continue with the Maestro Rhythm King drum machine instrument for Kontakt. Specifically, the MRK-1 / MRK-2. Same sounds, same rhythms, but better looking and more control.

Each sound has volume, pan, tune and mute as well as note and output routing so you can use separate outputs for each sound now. You need to create extra output channels in Kontakt first, not too difficult.

It costs 4 GBP and requires Kontakt version 4.2 or later (full). More info at my site if interested, link is below. I thank you.

Fantastic emulation of MRK 1&2 drum machines. I remembered it from the Bossanova setting for George McCrae's Rock Your Baby.

Now have Forgotten Keys CR-78, CR-8000, Minipops 7, Korg KR-55B. Superb stuff and the GUI's are excellent. CR-78 is my fave for Genesis, Phil Collins etc. stuff. Minipops 7 a close second for JMJ stuff.

Cheers.
