soundfont size/instrument limits?

Anyone else have issues with importing soundfonts into sampler? When dropping a DigitalSoundFactory.com sf2 file, which is full of instruments, they all don't work. Nothing weird, but every so often I get a silent instrument. I used these soundfonts in my previous DAW and no problems.
