The new Reason Rack Extension plug-in from Kuassa is truly amazing. I use it with the Cakewalk RE-2A opto-compressor so the chain is similar to the Tube-Tech classic channel. I have been getting shockingly cool sounds, some similar to the Tube-Tech, some going further into new territory, like some liquid full-spectrum pianos that are things I have never heard before, super musical and funky. And the saturation stuff with panoramic midrange EQ is like having several Fender amps and several really expensive mics. It is a perfect compliment for Vermilion. That weird thing of boosting and dipping at the same low frequency does that well-known "trick" of adding fullness and taking away mud at the same time. Really good for orchestral mastering too. Great work!
