I'm interested in that application, and I found these repositories that are said required to build the application:

https://github.com/teotigraphix/Touch4BitwigOSC
https://github.com/teotigraphix/Feather ... ions

Can you share the building instructions? Or some guides or something else to Google and start working with it?
Though, I've never done that with audio plugins, I use Linux, so I'm familiar with building software from the source code.

I suppose, first I need to watch these videos:

But maybe there is a shorter way than trying to create a new application by myself from the scratch.
Hello, it would be fun to see another application being built for Bitwig, but why dont you use the easier route and use Touch Osc or open stage control?

There’s already a touch osc file for free, which does much of what you see here!
You can download it here
https://github.com/MartinBeech/TouchOSC-for-Bitwig
Touch Osc is running on linux too btw. (WIN, MAC, Android, iOs., Linux) It’s worth every penny, to buy a license.

I m currently building a hugeeee touch interface for Bitwig, which surpasses the existing ones in functionality by far. Not sure if i will ask for a small fee in the end, maybe via patreon, because it was So much work and i'm broke. Haha. I will make a video about it soon, too. Here is a preview:

EDIT: forgot to mention: the interface i'm building is optimized for a Studio Solution, having a 24 inch Touchscreen, not a tiny android device. It might be broken down into several sub-windows, of course, to fit into tiny android tablet screens - but the main concept was designed for big touchscreens :)

Hello Nowiamone,
Thank you for the suggestions.
I didn't check the paid solutions because I don't want to buy anything from Play Market and because I only have Huawei's AppGallery on the tablet.
I will give it a try for TouchOSC, and I'm ready to pay for the desktop solutions.
But before that, I need to configure it. I don't like being constantly reminded of the purchase and the reduced functionality. That's what I have with TouchDAW when I couldn't even test how it works! 2 days ago I tested that it works correctly with LMMS, but not at all in Bitwig! Then I decided to try a hacky way:
TouchDaw => VMPK => Bitwig
At least the keyboard works that way!

I guess, I won't be able to try your solution as I only have a 10" tablet. But I don't think I need a lot of functionality. Just having a few helpers will be better than only the mouse (and hotkeys). Even only the keyboard controller would be better as I have to use VMPK, so the hotkeys are not available.

I'm sure this tosc file here would already be really great for you:

:)
Not sure about Huawei - do you mean, you aren't able to access the google store, and can't get Touch OSC for Android? that would be a pity

Hello Nowiamone,
Unfortunately, I cannot use Play Market to purchase anything. I already checked the free version of TouchDAW, which I downloaded from the APK mirror server (suggested by AppGallery). And I asked the developer if I can pay to him directly to get the Pro version. I know that I can easily download the paid version, but I prefer supporting creators when I can.
I guess I will stick to the TouchDAW for now, even though it only works for me as a connection to VMPK, but that is OK.

I have Aurora installed on my googleless Fairphone to give me access to the google play store… Maybe that works as well on a Huawei phone?

Hello Tj Shredder,
Today I learned that there is a way to install Play Market if your Huawei version is 10 or older. So, reason #2 is no longer applied.
But the reason #1 is still affecting me: I just cannot purchase anything from Google Play. I will think about creating a new account, but still, I have a bad experience with their policy. So for me, it is easier to use the demo version of TouchDAW that doesn't have so many limitations. Or I can try to find a different app. Or the harder way - create my own app/webapp and connect it to Bitwig.
