Some breaking news
The first Tachyon-powered plugin is rolling off the production line next week!
We've been slaving away on behalf of sampler superstars Advanced Media Group on a mega expandable loop player+library called AMG ONE, to be launched later in the year.
AMG will be launching a cut-down version of ONE (just one rack compared to the full version's 8, no FX and no patch browser) called AMG ONE/Solo next month.
AMG Solo features:-
* Loads Propellerhead REX and REX2 files
* Loads ACIDized WAV
* Loads proprietory compressed loop format
* Extensive subtractive synthesis capability (10x resonant filter types, 2x envelopes, 2x LFO)
* Plays automatically in sync with host at the touch of a key
* Export MIDI to host (even from an ACIDized WAV file) and change the slice order and timing to your hearts content
* Price - approx $50 without library, $100 including two AMG libraries
* Available: June

Dave

Just to follow up on this: we need a handful more beta testers to check ONE/solo out on their machines. If you are running Windows or Mac OSX versions of:-
* Sonar via a DXi adapter
* Anything other than Logic 6 via an AU adapter
* Pro Tools via an adapter
*Any of the less well known host programs (obviously not Cubase, Logic, Fruity, Orion, Tracktion etc.)
Please mail us at: amgsolo@muon-software.com and provide details of:
1. Computer (processor, RAM, soundcard)
2. OS & version
3. Host sequencer and version (plus adapter version if appropriate)
4. Full name, postal address and telephone number
5. Previous beta testing experience (preference will be given to applicants with previous experience, especially in any of our previous beta testing programmes)
Applications without full details as above will be rejected. The test will end Friday this week (28th May) and no doubt places will fill up extremely quickly. If you are reading this post after 28th May please do NOT apply.

Windows (9x/2K/XP) VSTiWill it be Win/Mac/OSX vsti only? AU ? DXI ?
Mac OSX (10.2.8 or better) VSTi
We're just double-checking how it works with adapters like the Fxpansion range (see above). We don't anticipate any particular problems though, all the testing we've done so far indicates no problems with the plugin running in wrappers
Cheers

That sounds very much like "we've sent it some time ago, they should have it, but it's not appeared yet", Dave
(There's a UK Bank Holiday on Monday, so Tuesday is the earliest most companies can be expected to be doing anything.)
