Hey.. I posted this video showing a little bit of the ostinato generator on the Virtual Orchestration User Group on Face Book and the only negative thing said so far was the "features" button on the web site doesn't work.

I do not know, but just in case, I'm sending crash reports ... Maybe this will help improve the program ...
This crash happened when moving the slider "Number Subdivision" (Phrase Inspector / generator properties / rhythm Subdivision)

awesome fix for the web site.. Still haven't had a chance at the second video, but, about to start on it.. In the video above, the part were I did the save is were the bugs began to show up. In fact, the phrase that I saved in the video, if you look at the preview box and what is actually playing, it is different. At first, I was thinking the notes generated were out of the keyboard range of the instrument I was using. (also what triggered my other question in the forum about mapping)..

just noticed this one.. if you use an external percussion library and change the track type to percussion, I assume that the piano roll names are using the internal percussion naming??? i.e., set the track to "MIDI:General Midi"..

Thank you, lulukom! These crash reports are very important for me. Sometimes I see exactly what caused the crash, but even if I do not always see the exact reason, I review the source code, look for possible unexpected/unhandled cases and make stability improvements.

The instruments on the piano roll depend on which drum map you select for that track. You can define your own drum map by creating or editing one of the .rcDRUM files in Documents\RapidComposerV3\DB. The .rcDRUM files are text files. I will gladly make a drum map file if you have some documentation on the instrument layout.

no, not necessary.. Just be aware I am still learning the software and what I find, like this, may not be a bug. I am also trying to look at it from a user perspective, which _could_ be perceived as a bug, but, really isn't. so with that, lol, I hope you don't regret letting me beta test this.. hehe

here is a bug I did find.. it is related to the above.. zoom tracks not working correctly..

OK, all zoom issues are fixed now! Now zooming is pixel precise.
Please note that if you want to work fast, you can define keyboard shortcuts for any of the 4 types of zooming under Settings / Keyboard Shortcuts. The settings are called a bit differently:

"Global" means that the shortcut is usable regardless of which keyboard focus area (timeline, master track, track headers, workspace) is in focus.
