Record generated midi in Studio One

I just purchased Nora and I have successfully setup Nora in Studio One controlling my other VST instruments.
I tried to record the generated MIDI but the MIDI recording is just garbage with lagging notes, sustaining notes that never get released etc.
I have done this with other 3rd party arps with no problems and am very curious why I cannot do this with Nora.
Any advice or hint in this regards would be highly appreciated.

It seems to work OK for me, with one "gotcha". The "Gotcha" being that you need to record a blank lead in of one measure, because Studio One will miss recording the first note if you start on measure one / beat one. Maybe timing between tracks? I don't know. I am using Studio One v3 Pro in the following way.
I created a blank song "Nora Test"
Insert Instrument track #1, drop Nora onto it, then added Presonus "Chorder" as note FX (this is the REALLY lazy composer's method . I put a pre-set piano ballad pattern in Nora.
Insert Instrument track #2, drop a VST on it (I used Presonus Presence sampler with a piano patch). The output should auto-set to the VST, but you need to change the track input to "Nora".
Set them up to record, and go. Just leave a blank measure at the start. The Nora midi output data will record to track two, and it should be spot on the grid in the edit window.
Once recorded, solo your instrument track (#2) to verify a good take, then delete the Nora track (#1)

Too many DAWs and plug-ins

Everything is good now.
It was actually this tip combined with an user error. I accidentally had the input quantitize button set to 1/1....

Hi there,
after disabling/Bypassing the Synth no need to record in Reaper
there is an Action:
Item: Apply track/take FX to items (MIDI output)
and optionally
Take: Crop to active take in items

Indeed, Reaper "Apply track/take FX to items (MIDI output)" is the faster way to "record" the MIDI Out not just from Nora, but any plugin. Well done Cockos
btw, for those DAWs that does not record any MIDI easily I provided a quick record method built-in Nora:
