any news about version 8? something to look forward to? developers have been quiet for the last few months. or is all the development around biotek?

They certainly didn't have many updates to T7. Maybe they are saving it all for T8.

What would we like? I know there are various long-standing issues, such as the video thing. Some would like the old colour thing again. The MIDI could have additions and tweaks; perhaps an option to add chords by hand. Are there things that can be done in other DAWs but not yet in Tracktion?

I don't know if they're going to read this... but I have a couple of things that really need to be addressed!

We need the option to render only selected tracks back... please!

Also, if I solo a track within a submix, it really needs to automatically solo the submix track as well.

Maybe this is just wishful thinking but if this hint is referring to better tempo mapping then I am all ears.

so looprecording can start from outside the loop with a preroll for example.

I was told By Tracktion Support that the biotek update is now for OSX 10.8. so I'm gonna guess that T8 will have new min. system requirements.
