Yes, the flexi. In the configuration dialog the CC is received, on channel 1. I can take new look at this, but I tried it already a few times. But it's of course possible the I also had some kind of misunderstanding.

I've tried the search function but I couldn't find any relevant results. Is the Launchpad Mini supported by this Bitwig extension ?

So does it need a controller that supports OSC?

Bitwig marks it as using OSC so I assumed that was how it communicates with DAWS

Where do you see that? This OSC box is on my system only displayed if you use the OSC extension.aMUSEd wrote:Bitwig marks it as using OSC so I assumed that was how it communicates with DAWS

I see, that answers my question then, must be specific to certain controllers like Komplete Kontrol which is why I'm seeing itmoss wrote:Where do you see that? Ah, yes. The Kontrol 2 has this weird architecture, I dont speak directly to the device instead NI runs this service in the background (that's why it does not work on Linux -> see me Tutorial video) and this communication is based on OSC.aMUSEd wrote:I see, that answers my question then, must be specific to certain controllers like Komplete Kontrol which is why I'm seeing itmoss wrote:Where do you see that? Thought so, that is consistent with how it works in Logic.

Hey,I have Beatstep with the firmware 1.2.0.3 and Bitwig 2.3 and can't make them work together: Bitwig continuously notifies that Beatstep crashed and jinxes up the playback so the whole package is just unusable. Need help here. Not sure if I've installed and configured this properly. I don't want to start blaming the DrivenByMoss before we've done some troubleshooting first.
I installed DrivenByMoss Bitwig extension as was instructed (downloaded from http://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Bitwig/Bitwig.html (http://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Bitwig/Bitwig.html)), loaded the Beatstep preset that came along with the extension with Arturia MIDI Control Center, changed the midi channel to 3 although the notation "Furthermore, in the Device Settings Tab set the User Midi Channel to 3" isn't clear to me. What do you mean? Is that instruction concerning some older UI of MIDI Control Center? There's no such tab with a label "Device Settings" that had a parameter "User Midi Channel" with numeric values.

Please look up the error message in the Script Console and paste it here.ablcstf wrote: I have Beatstep with the firmware 1.2.0.3 and Bitwig 2.3 and can't make them work together: Bitwig continuously notifies that Beatstep crashed and jinxes up the playback so the whole package is just unusable. That is only relevant to the Pro, I updated the Wiki accordingly.ablcstf wrote: extension with Arturia MIDI Control Center, changed the midi channel to 3 although the notation "Furthermore, in the Device Settings Tab set the User Midi Channel to 3" isn't clear to me.

Hi. I have an installation question. Is this the place to post it?
First, I had this extension working like a charm under Mac OS Sierra for the longest time. Then I had a HD meltdown, corrupted back up, yada yada and I had to start with a clean OS install and reinstallation of everything. (A PIA but actually a very "cleansing" experience! ) The new OS is High Sierra.
I am trying to reinstall DrivenByMoss for the Push2 controller. I've installed the extension and the Push2 is set up and responds. Great. I'd like to use the display features provided in 'push2display'. I am having zero luck and as I said before I had this working like a top under Sierra. Things I've done so far:
Thanks in Advance.
George

- - I have followed the installation instructions.
- - I have installed and verified the latest java from the Oracle website (jre-8u171-macosx-x64.dmg).
- - I've gone thru and made sure that various security permissions have been granted (including making sure that things under 'Security and Privacy>General' have been approved).
- - I've even used sudo in terminal to allow 'Run.cmd' to work.
Has anyone run across this? Is there something I can do? I have not changed anything in the 'push2display' directory.Georges-Mac-Pro:~ georgenapier$ /Volumes/Projects/Music/push2display/Run.cmd ; exit;

...completed.
Thanks in Advance.

You need to use "run.command" for Mac. "Run.cmd" is for Windowsgesslr wrote: I've even used sudo in terminal to allow 'Run.cmd' to work.
