Will something like these keyboards be included in Architect or will there be a capability to build one?
I could be mistaken but I think you could already build one? Arch supports touch screens, so you could just have a series of buttons triggering midi notes. I'd love to see hexagon shapes added to the panel too, so we could use isomorphic button layouts

Would be great if velocity can be managed by touching the key higher up for a higher velocity and pitch bend would be left and right touch slide.

Would be great if the keyboard would be included rather than having to build one. The ipad has serval novel alternative midi keyboard controllers. https://www.google.com/search?q=ipad+mi ... AB6BAgBEAI

Yep that's a good point about velocity and pitch bend. You could potentially use a series of the XY panel components for that?

Certainly the velocity mapping to height is a trivial thing to implement - literally a five-minute change - so I'll get that added today. And I'll have a think about the best way to handle pitch bend, but maybe as you suggest - sliding left and right - would work quite well.

And I'll also see about adding something similar to these two controllers to the user library.

Most virtual keyboards similar to Xotopad are stand-alone only.
So would be great that his will work inside Architect as a VST plugin :)
Colin:
The rectangular shape fits well in my multi-touch monitor but please make that editable.
I will attempt to have four keyboards on the screen at one time.
Please look at the additional features Xotopad has.

Would be great to implement some or the features of the Xotopad inside Architect.
One is the hold down similar to sustain, with the key being brighter in color. https://feelyoursound.com/xotopad/

I'll have a play about with Xotopad and see what I can do! Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello, Architect macOS ARM 0.10.23 no longer shows in Pro Tools 2023.6.0. I checked and the AAX is installed in the Avid Plug-Ins folder but the plugin is no longer accessible within Pro Tools (checked all categories and also used the search). I also uninstalled and re-installed and it still doesn't show. Do you have any ideas why this might be? macOS Ventura 13.6.1

Post

I have an idea what the problem may be: I reuploaded the latest 0.10.23 build a couple of days ago to fix an issue with Apple's Gatekeeper notarisation. I won't bore you with the finer details, but just note that in the older builds only the outer .DMG was notarised, not the inner .pkg, and not having a notarised .pkg can flag up warnings on some systems.

I'm surprised it has made a difference as the binaries are literally the same as previous build, just re-notarised; but I know this process - and Pace on top of that - can be particularly delicate and sensitive to minor changes.

In the intermin, you can find the previous installer here:
https://lmr-dply.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws ... .10.23.dmg

and I'll look to get this fixed and re-uploaded today.

Just to keep you in the loop, I tried the newly notarised builds myself on my current test version of ProTools, and - rather annoyingly - it worked fine. I added a stereo audio track and could successfully add an instance of Architect by locating it through the INSERT > SEARCH menu.

I'm going to install the exact version of ProTools that you are using, and see if that changes the situation at all.

I have a fix for this now, and it seems to work on both older and newer ProTools builds. I'm not going to have time this evening to get a build together and tested, but I will make it priority number one for tomorrow.

Thank you very much for looking into this. I did try the previous version you posted above and run into the same issue. I wonder if the error could be in my machine, let me know if you need more information. I really do appreciate your help.

If you could check your PMs, I've send you a link to a (hopefully) fixed build. Thank you.

Colin,
This may be an interesting midi keyboard to make as module within Architect.

Good find; I'm already working on something along these lines, as it's a nice demonstration of how you can use arbitrarily-shaped SVG buttons.
