I orchestrated the Genevan Psalter no. 42, which is the most beautiful written psalter from the time of the Protestant Reformation.

This piece was originally composed by Claude Goudimel (1514-1572)

So far I haven't had any thoughts on this arrangement/orchestration I uploaded more than a month ago, would you please share your opinion on this?

not my genre of expertise, so i cant really comment on the comp.
but....
the stage sounds proper for the piece, although i felt it began losing
dynamic range towards the end when things began to get louder.
thus, sounding less natural.

Don't know the piece but it sounds very good to me. Nice melodies and harmonies as well. The instruments sound well balanced.
Well done!

The music itself is beautiful, but the sound is a bit flat. It needs to breathe.
Make the beginning more intimate and less distant. So that the other 3/4 can have that contemplative/distant/larger-than-life quality.

mm,
The religious angle caught my eye. I can't say I have heard this song before, but it sounds pretty good (not what I typically listen to); I have no idea how it sounds relative to the original, or real orchestra recording? The instruments sound from pretty realistic to very realistic in my opinion. Perhaps you could review my original music at this thread:

I listened to the original hymn version of this music on YT. I think you did a good job of conveying the folk song like spirit of original performance.
I’m guess this shows that there was also a break musically from the Roman Catholic Church’s more formal chanting like music structure.
