I got the demo a couple months ago, I've since changed computers and don't really want to install the demo just to try to figure this out... plus I think I already know the answer but want confirmation (or even better education)...

I didn't see a way to export the waves? Can this not be done? If not is there a chance of this functionality being added? I would buy if this were the case because the old windows standalone version seems to be way behind the Linux versions that are able to do this. While Zyn is an amazing plugin I just don't really need it for use in something like bitwig.. but PadSynth samples would be very useful to me... I want to drop 'em into Polyend Tracker. It's like it was made for PadSynth Samples!

I don't really know about ZynFusion.

But the classic version I maintain can do this.

I may have to go that route, thanks!

So within Zyn fusion I'm not seeing a binding to the export2wav functionality. If it's not already listed at https://github.com/zynaddsubfx/zyn-fusion-issues/issues it's an enhancement which should be requested. So the functionality is still under the hood and can be triggered by anything talking to the backend via the OSC communication, however it should also be exposed in the UI.

Normally I'd link over to https://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.io/zyn-ports/ to say what the connection would be, however it looks like the metadata dumping missed the particular OSC path. I can confirm the API is (using the better reflection available in oscprompt) '/part0/kit0/padpars/export2wav "output-file-path" ' The 0s can be replaced to specify the padsynth instance to be exported.
