Playback is choppy in Studio One 4

Evolution Steel Strings, Windows 10 desktop, Intel i7, 16 GB RAM, HDD, 1.3 TB free space.

The song is at 90 BPM, and I'm using Custom Chords. (It needs to be Custom Chords. Some of the voicings are idiosyncratic.)

I've shifted the notes so they start 1/32 before the strum. The first beat of Pattern 1 is a full downward strum of a G5 chord. Instead of the chord, all that sounds is the low G, and sometimes not even that.
