reamp / splitter device for guitar.

hello, as mentioned in some other thread (one of the many i have made tonite.. joy!) i am going to record a band.

now i am totally obsessive about guitar tone, and i want to run one guitar signal into a box and make it split 4 ways, one for the PODxt (im sure ill get it), one for the V-amp or other real amp, one for the real amp, and one totally straight into the soundcard.

now, i have a behringer DI20, and it was cheap (of course, it was behringer), however, it seems to attenuate the input gain of my signal to my V-amp2 and the split signal going to the computer, resulting in a crappy sound.. Im not sure if im doing something wrong.. i have a lot of other behringer gear, among other things, and i really like it, better than some more expensive stuff actually, but something is wrong with this thing...

any suggestions would be helpful..
