Why do slides in OrangeTree Evolution guitar libraries sound like farts ? I tried messing with the settings but can’t get them to sound like Renegade Acoustic.
Here I did quick example compared to renegade acoustic:

The slides you're playing are pretty high velocity--I think playing them at a lower dynamic would make them sound better. In the Renegade part of the example, it actually isn't playing a slide, but is playing a whole step hammer on instead.

I guess the correct term is “hammer-ons” then.

here I did an update setting the hammer-ons velocity much lower, it was almost impossible to play, had to edit velocities but it sounded little better:

Sorry, I guess I should have explained it clearer. Slides move chromatically from the first note to the second note. In this case the second note is a whole step higher. When you slide on the fretboard, it moves chromatically through every note until you reach the destination note.

A hammer on, which is what you have Renegade playing (and not a slide articulation), is where you're playing legato in a way that immediately jumps to the destination note. Instead of sliding between the two notes with a single finger on the fretboard, you're using a second finger to switch instantly to the new note--so you don't get any chromatic notes between the starting and destination note like you do when sliding.
