The latest version of my TouchOSC Performer for Bitwig 4.4.x is available. Quite a few updates since the previous version, including:
- Tracks & Clips get their colours from Bitwig
- Tracks get basic VU meters
- Track & Scene navigation moved to the far right
- Select from your loaded Bitwig projects
- Activate / De-activate audio engine, save your projects, undo / redo changes

Get it from https://github.com/MartinBeech/TouchOSC-for-Bitwig

I know it's for Bitwig 4 + drivenbymoss 19, but:
I'm trying my best to get the cliplauncher running in Bitwig 5, with the latest drivenbymoss script.
Sadly, some things don't work properly (launching clips for example, and therefore also the clip-has-content and clip-is-playing feedback, because pressing other clips permanently "toggles" their visual feedback but without actually launching them!)
If you know anything about the possible fix for this, please help :D

Edit:
Oh, i think the argument is missing for whatever reason at /track/1/clip/1/launch
It is the correct adress, but "Arguments" is empty. Needs a X (0/1). I'll try to rebuild the launcher. And i'll add 14 Scene and Track Rows!
Btw, i found out the Cliplauncher Buttons in Scene 8 have Outline = Corners, instead of Outline = Full like every other button :D tiny thing, but just to let you know.

Update: I was able to fix the issues, some OSC messages just were turned off ("enabled" not active) :)

Version for Bitwig 5 is now available. Focus on this update has been the launcher page, pretty much re-written to be easier to maintain and work with the Launch / Release functionality in BW5. For that reason this version will not work with BW4, and the previous version will not work with BW5.

I'm having troubles getting my TouchOSC on my ipad connected to Bitwig. I have TouchOSC downloaded on both iPad and Macbook, I have TouchOSC bridge installed, I have the latest drivenbymoss, and I am connected via USB. I've followed the limited instructions cobbled together from various locations - unfortunately there isn't one comprehensive guide to getting all this working on Bitwig 5. (If anyone could point me to a good resource, I would appreciate it.)

In the meantime, when I pull up the Top for BW5.tosc, it does not look like the sample images on Github. It looks like this:

Is that right?

I can get BW to talk to the script, but the script won't talk to BW

Did you ever figure it out?

Hello,
Please double check the ip adresses and ports you are using. If communication from your external tablet towards Bitwig is the only thing not working, then i would assume you have to fix either the recieving port in Bitwigs drivenbymoss osc script, or, much more likely, the IP of your PC inside the Tablets Touch Osc Osc connection settings! (Including the sending port).

The best resource is discord, imho, where there’s a great touch osc community.
Or the Touch osc template makers facebook community. Links to both are found on Tim Corpus Website.

Another thing you could read is the instruction summary i made for the Bitwig Looper i built. It might troubleshoot in your case, too, since it’s a step by step instruction on how to make a OSC connection between touch osc and PC (Mac people also did have success with it, despite me not knowing the specifics of MAC).
