Why do notes play a second time when releasing MIDI keys in Shreddage 3 Stratus Free?

I have Shreddage 3 Stratus Free, Kontakt Player 7 and Reaper 5. I noticed that when I play a note using my MIDI keyboard, the note triggers on Note On as well as on Note Off. Why does this happen, and how can I disable it? It doesn't happen when I replace Shreddage 3 with another Kontakt plugin.

Do you mean the release noises? You can go to the Articulations tab and turn those down or disable them, however I do recommend keeping them on as they add a lot of realism to your performances.
