Mmm, this is definately dark ... An interesting listen, i thought. Lots of bizarre textures and things floating around. Maybe some of it's a bit too loud in places, but it seems to work for the most part. Cool stuff :)

Interesting stuff, ocp. Liked a lot of it, though at times I was sort of hoping for some of the textural bits to rise a bit to the surface, either louder or increased higher end frequencies.

Cheers,

I’ve listened to your ep 5 times now in full and there some elements in it which I like and other elements that I don’t like very much. The first two songs are very similar in my experience. I have lot’s of trouble separating them from another. This is not necessarily a bad thing. I like the overall sound & empty atmosphere of the first song but I do not like the little short reverbed clicks. Instead of interesting I find them distracting. I think it could have been a lot better and way more “trance inducing” / “hypnotic” if they were left out. Not in the last place because I think that the main sound can carry the song on it’s own weight without becoming boring.

The 2nd song is droning & low. It’ sort of nice but lacks the transparency of the first track, in my opinion. The 3rd song is something completely different and stands out very much from the previous two. More is happening in the track with the panning and the elements & building blocks of the song. I guess that the last track is more colourful than the other two. Guess it’s the glitchyness of it , which is sort of nice.

On a whole I think that the EP is a bit directionless. Now this is not completely true, I know but oh well. It’s certainly not a bad ambient / soundscape EP but I don’t think it’s great either, sorry.

The "distortion" in your tracks doesn't sound good IMO. I'd rather use a good low pass filter to distort them or to smooth them. Or saturated tape.

The clicks in the first track could sound good with convultion reverb with a very long impulse 100% wet.

The 2nd track is mixed very well and has a great "3d feeling".
