Hay Thanx dudes for all the replies... I've been to all the sites, and yes they do let you put songs on their sights, but none seem to direct link... I am looking for something that I can use as an FTP Host for mp3's so I can direct link them in competitions...

I might be really dumb and completely missing the plot but I can't seem to direct link with any of the cloients above, they all do PHP and don't allow me to specify fhe file name, which is a requirement in the comps...

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!!! Man, oh and I can't afford to just get a host, it really does have to be free..

Audioshots is the best BY FAR. I have tried soundclick, myspace, 7141.com and one more i can't remember, but audioshots rules them all.

This link will work better

(only the k-v-r comps can be direct linked from the auditorium, all other cases you need to link to the post (no one needs to register to download the track, just post the link to the post you make and they can download from that) I wrote a bit in the support section worth checking out on this link http://audioshots.com/auditorium/viewtopic.php?t=480 )

Best regards,

I signed up for Mixposure's free service recently & have found it to be more than fine.

You get several pages to provide content...
ie; bio page, music page, gig page, contact page etc, & the ability to provide both direct links & streams of your uploaded tracks, to your potential listeners!

http://www.mixposure.com

Click on my banner below to see how they construct a page!

Cheers Audioshot dude :)
