I have owned 3 TBs and believe it or not i actually need a single sample of just one note.
I also need a selection of the same note from any emulators.
Lets say middle C
Any that are free just point me in the right direction and i can do it myself cheers for any help

Oh i sold all my TBs they where worth too much to somebody else

(Paid for most my studio hehe)

Try www.peff.com who's a top bloke and does lots of amazing things with 303's, Rebirth and Reason etc. He ran a 'real' 303 sample thing on his site with .wavs posted etc along with Rebirth equivalents.

You can mail him from his site and although he's a busy man, I bet my left nut he will at least respond with either a yes or no

Incase you don't know the name, Peff made the very first Rebirth MOD which give you 909 sounds in Rebirth 1 instead of the 808. The guys a legend.

Oh yes i remember that name, Wasn't the skin on the mod black (I could be wrong)

He did loads but the early black skin MOD that springs to mind was the PBE (Pitch Black Edition) which I don't think was Peffs. He did the Technobox MOD which was a bluey green colour similar to the KVR colour which was one or the first MOD's available.

Then again I could be well wrong as I've just realised its been 10 years since I got Rebirth 1.0 - shit the bed......

In a couple of years time that CD will be worth as much as a real 303 as it'll be 'vintage'

I can sample any settings you like from a real 303 and our emulator - PM me if interested.

FWIW there should also be more in the June edition of Electronic Musician where they're doing another of their vintage synth/emulator shoot-outs. The article previews I saw suggested they'd put up samples to download of everything they tested.

...and yes, Tau did extremely well

Nu Audio Science - this VST isn't meant as a TB clone but definately pays homage to it and makes for a killer ACID machine with lots of bite and a twist.
