Hi,

I've been browsing the drumkits for a while now, and there are two drum kits that, from my point of view, are simply the best drumkits out there. Please don't shoot me, this is what I think I saw in the reviews.

I saw:
- Native Instruments Battery
- fxpansion BFD

Battery sounds like a terrific sampler and it seems that you can go anywhere you want with it, adding lots of samples, adding lots of expansions.

BFD seems to be the "real" thing. 11 microphones recorded each drum-instrument (different brands) in 46 different velocity states. Every microphone can be adjusted so you can change the sound in lots of ways.

Now here's my problem: I don't have samples, I don't take samples from music (because I really hate it), I just want a great drum kit with blues & jazz-drums, drum'n bass drums, maybe rock & pop, and if possible, even house & trance, to create my own music, not having to go and search everywhere in my music catalogs or ten different vst's before I find the right cymbal...

Which one of these should I choose? And why should I do that? Or should I change my view and even take another drumkit which will even more fullfil my needs?

Please help me decide!
