As most likely to be the result of the new gui changes , i have immense problems with Voxengo plugins (f.e. Elephant2) .
Their GUI stay and don't react anymore after , for example , when presets are changed in the (gui) preset selector , and cause the _whole_ gui to freeze .
The only way i can bring movement into it is to right-click on the symbol in the taskbar for so many times until the gui is responsive again .

BTW: changing gui mode doesn't matter , happens in both .

weird - for the first time, i downloaded the demo of Voxformer yesterday and tried it out.
blank GUI panel. haven't tried it since - but at least now I know it's not me.

For the record - the free voxengo tube plugin works fine

(and sounds great)

This is the same sort of problem I have with SpinAudio's GUI's too - and I just noticed myself that Voxengo's SPAN was very very sluggish!

Problem replicated here, which sucks, because I use the Voxengo stuff a fair amount! And yes, my Spin Audio plugs are slow as well. Very annoying!

The Kjaerhus plugins work fine, thankfully!

It's hard to tell what's wrong. I've checked out the latest beta of EnergyXT (12-june-2005) with Elephant 2.4 in both Effect and Standalone modes. No issue was found like the one you are describing here. Probably EXT's developers have fixed it already?

A quick way to reproduce it for me is to simply fire up the eXT standalone and insert an Elephant2 into the main window , connect it , open its UI and change to a different preset in the preset panel at the top of the plugin .
It doesn't even get to change it here and freezes instantly .

I'm running the 12-June standalone eXT and the above procedure produces the problem. Interestingly enough, not *all* the Voxengo plugs show this issue - for example, Soniformer works just dandy as does Polysquasher.

yes , seems to be only Elephant2 (thankfully) here after double checking all the ones i got (i don't have GlissEQ which was mentioned in the other thread) .

I have elephant2, pristine light, crunchessor, lampthruster and voxformer...all work fine for me...

Adding the line "suspendtime=0" to the [Options] section of the energyXT.ini file appears to solve this problem.
