I must not be doing something right. I downloaded ambience, the compressor and the eq plug ins. I then went into library/audio/plug-ins/VST and place them there. I can clearly see them in the folder, but when I go to pro tools to open them, they are not listed under my plugins. Do I know some sort of additional tool before I try these out. I had vaguely read something about a vst wrapper once, do I need that since I'm a mac user or something? Any help in this matter is gratefully appreciated. Thank You.

I have this problem too. i downloaded ambience and the NyquistEQ, have tried them in my home folder and HD folder in the VST folder as instructed and neither show up in my plug-in menus. I'm on a powerPC G5 dual processor and running Protools 7.3.1

Is there something else i need to do?

If only there'd be an universal binary version of ambience.....
